During free time at the Annual Meeting- Reunion an interesting topic was raised in a conversation with a member who had served in the Armed Forces. He was disappointed that his two teen grandchildren had never asked him about his service! I suggested he write a couple paragraphs or more down and submit them to our newsletter. Just think how Once home, I thought that would be a members and/or their spouses to write about their military service. Anyone can write! Just that; you can fix that up later. To submit it, you can write it neatly on lined paper, leaving a blank line between every written line. Or you can type it [aaah,- typewriters-that could be a future topic for everyone to contribute to] and mail it in, or email it to John W. Also, I vaguely remembered that the National so I tracked that down. The correct name is the Veterans History Project, and you can visit the website [no Cloughs listed yet] at http://www.loc.gov/vets/stories/alphalist.html to read the stories already submitted.
