The twenty-fourth annual meeting of the John Clough Genealogical Society, Inc. will be held on Saturday, July 27, 1963 at Cousin Erskine and Vivian Lord’s Farm in Salem, New Hampshire.
This year it is to be for one day, only, in the form of a family picnic. The Board of Governors will meet, as usual, at eleven a. m. and at 12:30 p. m. A catered Family dinner will be served in the form of a barbecue. The price will be $2.00 per person.
Those wishing to stay over night will find several nice motels near. Those wishing to spend the evening before starting for home will find arrangements for a light snack.
Let us make this a very happy day, one long to be remembered. A nice home, grand Host and Hostess, plenty of room inside in case of rain are offered at Salem.
Be sure to bring your hobbies and any Civil War trophies in your Family.
Once again we greet the Spring and God is still Supreme. What a wonderful thought to cling to in these seemingly dark days!
I sincerely hope that all who can will attend our twenty-fourth reunion at Salem at the kind invitation of the Lords and bring a new member. We must look toward the future and try to fill the vacancies left by those who have slipped beyond the veil. I am sorry that my Christmas message was not received in time for the Bulletin.
Cousin Bernice, President.
