MRS EMMA CLOUGH BONE
The sad news of the death of Mrs. Emma Clough Bone came from her sister, Mrs. Jordan at Christmas, 1953. The December Bulletin carried the picture of these cousins on the front page. At the reunion at Kennebunk, Mrs. Bone told the Editor that she had been busy renovating her real estate in the center of the city of Waycross, Ga., and was exceedingly tired.
Mrs. Bone was a descendant of John True Clough, number 1563, page 411 in the Genealogy. The picture of her father, Jonathan Gilman Clough, is in the book. She was greatly loved by her sister’s family and will be missed in their homes. She attended the two previous reunions and assisted in compiling the data for her lineage. She is buried in Kettle Creek Cemetery where her ancestors sleep.
