Bob Clough was born in Omak, WA., the second son of Eugene & Louise Clough. Bob attended Northwestern Medical School, where he met his future wife, Nancy Phair in Chem Lab. They were married in 1940. In 1946 Bob & Nancy moved to the Bay Area. In 1950 Bob became a real estate broker and completed post-graduate studies in business and finance at UC-Berkeley subsequently becoming a real estate appraiser and investment broker. Much of Bob’s time was devoted to community organizations. He spent many years reading to the blind. He served as a counselor for suicide prevention, and as an AID’s counselor at John Muir Hospital. In 1975 Bob and Madeline Parks met at a grief counseling seminar. Madeline and Nancy became dear friend until Nancy’s death in 1985. Soon after Madeline became the special person in his life and they shared 25 beautiful years together. Bob is survived by Madeline, his sister Jeanne Hummel of Bremerton and his brother George Clough of Spokane.
