New Bedford Whaling Musuem Archives- Capt. Benjamin Clough and Family

October 8, 2016 By fclough

The New Bedford, MA Whaling Museum’s (https://www.whalingmuseum.org/) Genealogy Database contains four pictures of Cloughs, all well-known to the JCGS as Capt. Benjamin was the great-grandfather of current JCGS President, John Clough.

If you go to the photo archives search box, you can type in “Clough” as a keyword to find them as well. Note that Benjamin and Charlotte’s oldest son, Benjamin Jr. is not included in the archives for some reason and that Charlotte Chase Downs is listed on the New Bedford site only as “Mrs. Benjamin Clough.”
