A few days after the Fall Bulletin was in print, the news came of the death of Frank Williams who had lived with failing health in Florida winters and visiting his daughter in California in the summer. He and “Farmer” Fanny, his devoted wife, resided in Marysville, Kansas on a large wheat ranch. They participated in civic affairs in their city and Fanny became a well known correspondent for their county newspaper and continues her column even in Florida.
Frank was of the Salem, N. H. line. In the so-called Clough Book one may read on page 217 about the migration of his grandparents to Kansas a century ago. Cousin Fanny returned alone to Florida, to Bradenton, yet she was not without Clough associates with Cousin Ethel in Tavares and Lucy at Eustis.
